SHILOH CEMETERY
ATLANTA, CASS COUNTY, TEXAS
LOCATION: From Atlanta, at the intersection of Hwys 59 & 77,
travel 59 south approx. 5 miles, turn right on CR1111, travel 1
mile. The cemetery is located on both sides of the road.
This cemetery is known to be predominantly black.
Cemetery was read 25-JAN-1996 by Bob & Melodene Banks, Charles
Steger, Irene Powell, Melba Tims, Kathryn McAlexander, Roger
Ridpath, Jane Nunn & Elbert Wesley Stiger helped to identfy some
of the unmarked graves and furnished information. Also furnishing
information were: Beatrice Daniels, Ernestine Chism & Linden
Funeral Home. Land deeded by J. C. & Georgia Lawson & Blanche
Haskins
The oldest know grave: ROW 6A
MAYS Grant H. only date 19-MAR-1878
